A Lineage of Grace by Francine Rivers

Estimated read time 1 min read

Five outstanding women, five amazing paths that’ll eventually lead to the coming of Jesus Christ…

In chronological order, these women’s lives are chronicled in the most informative and detailed manner. I’m astounded at the depth of research that went into this book 🤯. Although worlds apart in terms of temperaments and time, one common bond links them together.

We watch as God weaves them into an intricate tapestry for a greater purpose. Even more, we see as God takes the least expected of women: from the feisty to the timid, outcasts, the abandoned and misunderstood, and in His usual pattern, turns them into women worthy of emulation.

Broken into five major chapters, you’ll see Tamar’s quiet strength, Ruth’s loyalty and meekness, Rahab’s passion and courage 🔥, Bathsheba’s grit and redemption, and Mary’s extraordinary faith and submission

In this book, we see God’s love for variety and how He doesn’t want women to be clones of each other but works to refine us … If you haven’t read any Christian novels, this is a good place to start!
