Spiderman: No Way Home

Movie Review: Spiderman No Way Home

Marvel movies are best seen on IMAX screens with sound surrounding systems and an audience that shares the same passion for Marvel movies as you do: Funmike Ibidun.

If you haven't seen Spiderman: No Way Home, you need to. I knew I needed to watch this movie on the big screen to catch all the action and get immense in it. I am glad I did because it was terrific.

How do I give a review without spoilers because there is so much I want to write?!

Firstly, I love all the cameos! All of them!

I happily screamed my way through each appearance. It has been so long since I saw these characters on the big screen that it felt like the years hadn't gone by.

I love the instant bond between the spiders, and it makes me want to adopt them all.

I dub thee Brother 1, Brother 2 and Brother 3.

And now, let's swing our way home. šŸ¤—

It is with mixed feelings I watch them part. Can I just hug whoever came up with the ideas? A creative genius, I stan!

Marvel excels at these things! Do you now understand why Marvel has so many fans? They are excellent at what they do!

If I wasn't a bonafide Marvel fan before, this movie has built a concrete platform on it and styled it Funmike the Marvel chick.

I love all the references they made in the movie as they brought back memories from childhood. The fact that I remember what they even mean keeps me in high spirits, and thank goodness, the audience at the screen were a bunch of MCU nerds. They got the references too, and we happily exchanged info.

I am glad of Peter's growth, and although it had to be through the hard way, he became a better person for it. This taught me the importance of having good friends who would always stand by you no matter the situation. The storyline for me is about giving people second chances and going out of your way to assist others even when it isn't your responsibility- even when the people you are trying to help keep hurting you and frustrating your efforts.

There were times in the movie I thought, you know what, Peter, just let this be. It is no longer your responsibility. But his friends and aunt encouraged him, and he kept on fighting for what he believed in. Unfortunately, not everyone got a happy ending, but it is fine as that is how it should be.

The end credits explained Venom's disappearing act, and an Easter egg was given too. You sincerely need to watch this movie!

I give it 10 ā. It isn't because I am a Marvel fan, or Spiderman happens to be one of my favorite heroes. The truth is that it is just that good.

And now, in the true 9ja fashion: Go and grab your copy now!
