A Court of Silver Flames (A Court of Roses and Thorns #4) by Sarah J. Maas

The latest part of the ACOTAR series, A Court of Silver Flames, focuses on Nesta, Feyre’s eldest sister.

After the war with King Eyburn, Nesta struggles to come to terms with her grief. She becomes a shell of herself, drinking into oblivion, sleeping with strangers, and not caring about her life again. To help, Feyre decides that she will go to the House of Winds with Cassian to train.

Sexual tension heightens between Cassian and Nesta alongside the creeping threat of the Mortal Queen. Trying to train, Nesta begins to understand the depth of her power, which puts her and her family’s lives at risk.

A delightful read. I enjoyed this book so much, especially the romance between Cassian and Nesta. Sarah did a great job at redeeming Nedra’s character, as I hated her in all the previous books except this.

This book dwelled on the subject of grief, healing, and forgiveness. I enjoyed all the moments all the characters could come together and laugh. However, I’m sensing a lot more from Azriel and Elian. I hope they grow into more than friends (sorry for Lucien).

In conclusion, this series did not disappoint, and I’m a bit sad that I did not read it sooner. I can’t wait to have the physical copies in my hands!

Rating: 5 out of 5.
