Rhythm of War (The Stormlight Archive #4) by Brandon Sanderson

Rhythm of War is simply astounding! There are plenty of surprises from arguably the Epic Fantasy Read of 2020 (even though I'm rating it 4/5 stars).

It starts off really great, and the tone is consistent throughout. There are several interesting surprises, but they'd be spoilers if I talked about them anyway.

A few new characters, the author is showing an unwillingness to expand his elite ensemble of good guys and bad guys.

I still don't enjoy Dalinar's perspective. I think he's a puffed-up fool who just had awesome powers. Powers that keep getting stronger.

Urithiru is a well-outlined tower city. I look forward to the development of that aspect of Roshar and the series as a whole.

I've always felt BS was taking it chill with his people if you ask me. Enmity doesn't run as deep as I'd expected it to at this point. Well, there's still an awful lot to anticipate.
