Someday, Maybe is a book I would love to re-read, and I recommend it to whoever can handle its heavy content.

What do you do when your husband kills himself? How do you carry on?
This incredible work of fiction is an intriguing exploration of grief, specifically the grief over the death of a loved one after suicide.
It explores all the stages of grief, the struggles, unexpected spiralling, and the entire situation of it. It highlights greatly the impact death by suicide has on a person’s spouse and family.
Someday, Maybe examined Eve’s grief in an incredible way, with us readers experiencing her grief together as though we were in Eve’s shoes. From the denial of the fact that her husband was gone to her being angry at herself for not noticing anything. We go through it all with her.
Someday, Maybe was very interesting, informative and incredible. It also explored how the dynamics of a family could change following such a devastating loss. The inability to move on and the constant reminder that the person is gone forever is an extremely hard pill to swallow.
I found this book to be beautiful, sad and amazing, and I am in awe of the writing and diction. I am a lover of low books, and this book hit the mark. I only wish we were given more about Q’s background and early life.
Someday, Maybe is a book I would love to re-read, and I recommend it to whoever can handle its heavy content. Please remember to check for the triggers before reading.
I’m a lover of sad books. Nothing makes me feel more happy that finishing a book that made me cry a lot. If you think it’s weird . Try it and see the thrill of it
