Do you know I’m not as strong as I say I am?
When you don’t call,
That’s when the tears fall.
Can you tell I’m not as sane as you think I am?
When you go away,
That’s when the demons come out to play.

Can you hear it?
It’s calling.
Can you feel it?
It’s alluring.
Can you see it?
It’s mesmerising.

It whispers secrets in my ears,
Of a place without tears,
Without a trace of fears.

It places caresses on my skin,
Promises to offer relief,
And never leave.
