The Truth of the Aleke (Forever Desert #2) by Moses Ose Utomi

🖤

My face at the end of this The Truth of the Aleke:

One day you will learn you are a fool like everyone else, and that you should have listened to your betters.

Thoughts

🖤🖤

The era of Tutu is long gone and the world has changed. As is the case in all things, as long as the world turns, villains will always exist. But who is it in this era?

The Forever Desert has seen changes, the Ajungo are no more but now the Aleke threaten the peace of the land. For Osi, who grew up hearing of the evil of the Aleke and who desperately believes in justice and holds clear-cut views on right and wrong, the chance to be at the forefront of things is a no brainer....what follows, is a culmination of what happens when truth festers in the dark...

Verdict

The Truth of the Aleke is a truly magnificent read! I really didn't think Utomi would top The Lies of the Ajungo, but I ended up thoroughly impressed!

I eagerly anticipate the conclusion of this series!!!

A very solid read!

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.
